Masters Series Pinot Noir 2019

Vintage 2019 saw low yields due to the previous seaons dry conditions, however good rainfall in June and August followed by a mild autumn resulted in good flavour and colour development.
This 777 clone Pinot Noir was sourced from our very own single vineyard, located just outside of the township of Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills which is situated 421m above sea level. The grapes were hand harvested and whole bunch fermented, with careful foot stomping and light pumpovers as required. The wine spent 15 days on skins before being racked and matured in French oak barriques for 16 months. Only 1700 bottles of this special wine have been produced.
